Is the sheet waterproof?
No.
Is the mattress waterproof?
No. The mattress is water resistant. It is able to resist the penetration of water to some degree, but it is not impervious to water.
What is the mattress made of?
100% polyurethane foam (PU Foam).
What is the difference between the mamaRoo sleep™ bassinet and the mamaRoo® infant seat?
While both feature 5 unique motions that bounce up and down and sway from side to side, just like parents do, the mamaRoo sleep bassinet and the mamaRoo infant seat have different uses to provide baby the comfort or entertainment they need.
The mamaRoo sleep bassinet features a firm, flat sleep surface that is designed to help your baby fall asleep and stay asleep longer. It can be used for both overnight sleep and naps throughout the day.
The mamaRoo infant seat is designed to comfort, soothe, and entertain your baby. It can be used throughout the day or when parents need a hands-free moment. The mamaRoo infant seat is not intended for extended or overnight sleep since it is neither a flat surface (there is always a slight recline) or a firm surface as recommended by pediatricians. If your baby falls asleep in the mamaRoo infant seat and you’re not able to provide the required supervision, we recommend moving the baby to a separate approved sleep surface.

Is the mamaRoo sleep bassinet approved for overnight sleeping?
Yes. The firm mattress provides a safe, flat sleep surface that follows the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Safe Sleep recommendations.
Voltage specifications
The power supply for the mamaRoo sleep bassinet will work between 100 and 240 VAC (or between 50 and 60 Hz). Only use the power supply that is provided by 4moms and is specified for use with either the 4moms mamaRoo sleep bassinet or the 4moms mamaRoo infant seat. Do not use a generic power cord.
How to power on / off?
Press and hold the power icon.
How to lock / unlock screen?
Press and hold any of the five motion icons for 5 seconds. Motion icon will flash when the screen is locked. To unlock, press and hold the same motion icon again for 5 seconds.
How to mute volume?
Press and hold either the sound or volume icon for one second.
Will the LCD dim after a period of time?
Yes, the LCD will dim after 90 seconds, but the power icon will remain illuminated. Press anywhere on the LCD to reactivate the screen.
Can multiple devices be paired with the mamaRoo sleep?
Yes, multiple devices can be paired with the mamaRoo sleep. However, only one device at a time can be used to control it. To allow another device to control the mamaRoo sleep, close the 4moms app completely on your mobile device.
Can I be paired to both the mamaRoo infant seat and the mamaRoo sleep bassinet simultaneously?
Yes.

Why is there a 4-hour auto shutoff?
The 4-hour shutoff feature is standard across our mamaRoo products. In the mamaRoo sleep bassinet, it is a feature that helps to begin the transition from bassinet to crib. Most newborns will fall asleep within a 4-hour timeframe and will not feel the motion stop. You can easily turn the motion back on via the 4moms app or on the unit itself.
What are the usage limits for the bassinet?
For use from birth until child reaches maximum weight limit of 25 pounds or can push up on their hands or knees – whichever comes first.
Can the power cord from the mamaRoo infant seat and the mamaRoo sleep bassinet be used interchangeably?
Yes. The only difference is the length of the cord.

Why do I hear sound from the coming from the unit after it is powered off?
The mamaRoo sleep contains an internal fan that may continue to run for up to 20 minutes after the motion stops. Do not unplug the power cord while the fan is running.
