Traditional infant swings are large and clunky. We believed swings would be better if they provided the back and forth gliding motion that babies love in a compact and modern design. That's why we created the 4moms® rockaRoo® infant seat. By flipping the swing on its head and moving the pivot point under the seat, the rockaRoo provides a large range of motion in a beautiful design that is just 1/3 the size of traditional swings.

Is the rockaRoo® infant seat approved for overnight sleeping?
No. Since it is neither a flat surface (there is always a slight recline) or a firm surface, as recommended by pediatricians, we cannot recommend that it be used for overnight sleep.
How do I clean the rockaRoo seat fabric?
The seat fabrics (classic, plush, and cool mesh) and the newborn insert are machine washable. We recommend washing them in cold water on the gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry separately on low heat and remove promptly from dryer.
How do I clean the harness straps?
In order to clean the harness straps you must first disassemble the seat (click here for disassembly instructions). Once disassembled, use a sink or other basin and allow the straps to dangle from the central rail into soapy water. Do NOT immerse the central rail into the water. Once clean, rinse and let dry before reassembling the unit. Watch the rockaRoo disassembly video for instructions on disassembling your rockaRoo.
Does the rockaroo and mamaroo share the same seat fabric or are they not compatible with one another?

Is the rockaroo considered an inclined sleeper?
Our rockaroo turns on but will not rock, the light on the dial blinks and then it shuts off, please help?
Is it supposed to turn itself off? Mine shuts off after 1 minute or less.
